West Bradford approves two open-space purchases totaling $3.54 million

The West Bradford Township Board of Supervisors voted unanimously on May 12 to acquire two parcels of open space totaling about 83.9 acres at a combined cost of $3,537,800.

The board approved a $737,800 purchase of an open-space interest in 56.4 ± acres at 685 Broad Run Road after a motion from Vice Chair Jack M. Hines, seconded by Member Kevin Houghton. The board then approved a fee-simple acquisition of roughly 27.5 ± acres at 1246 Telegraph Road for $2,800,000 on a motion by Mr. Houghton, seconded by Mr. Hines; both motions carried 3-0.
