One trustee asked whether the district engages in recruitment in Mexico after noting several Rio Rico graduates who live across the border; trustees said they will explore recruitment options and compliance with enrollment laws.
Separately, a trustee reported parents and community members are still unclear about the district’s grading rubric and requested a future agenda presentation so trustees can better answer constituent questions. The board added “Understanding grading rubric” to future topics for an upcoming meeting.
