Chris Rising of the Growth Services Department told the board that staff had asked the BCC to schedule the public hearing and that the CRA could also set its own concurrent public meeting to allow the CRA to adjourn or pause the BCC meeting if action on CRA business was needed. “We will be doing a 10 year extension to the CRA plan, which is allowed, and then also integrating more thoroughly the master plan that we did in 2024 into the CRA plan and updating that,” Rising said.
The request was approved by motion: the chair recorded a motion by Commissioner McLean and a second by Commissioner Bridal to approve the minutes earlier in the meeting, and later a motion to request the BCC hearing was moved by Commissioner Bridal and seconded by Commissioner Stone; both motions were recorded as passing unanimously.
