Lincoln committee honors student winners, coaches, teachers and retiring staff

The committee also honored a long list of retirees across the district who together represent nearly 496 years of service; staff recognized included classroom teachers, administrators, technology and operations staff, and extracurricular advisers. High school principal Ken Hopkins led a portion of the ceremony recognizing long-serving teachers and extracurricular advisers.
Why it matters: ceremonial recognitions showcase student achievement and institutional continuity, and the retirements mark personnel transitions the district will address ahead of the next school year.
