The Marion County Community Redevelopment Agency voted Dec. 16, 2025, to adopt its proposed 2026 meeting schedule, keeping meetings on the typical third-Tuesday pattern while moving an August date to September to accommodate budgeting requirements.
Planner Christopher Reisen told the board the schedule “has been coordinated with the Marion County Board of County Commissioner’s schedule as well for 2026,” and said the September adjustment is intended to provide time for required budget considerations. Chairman Zalick asked commissioners whether the schedule “look[s] okay,” and a motion to approve was made, seconded and passed unanimously.
The change is procedural: board members said they want the consultant engaged on the Silver Springs item to return program options at the February meeting so the board can finalize any new procedures then. No substantive policy decisions beyond the calendar change were made at the meeting.
