Kevin Hastings was re-elected chair of the Hampstead Zoning Board of Adjustment at the board’s May 6 meeting at Town Hall. The board voted 5-0 to elect Hastings after a nomination by member Jaye Dimando and a second by Neil Reardon.
Dimando also nominated McQuesten for vice-chairman; Hastings seconded that nomination and the board voted 5-0 in favor. Dimando moved to nominate Soucy for secretary; Hastings seconded and the motion passed 5-0.
The officer elections were part of routine organizational business at the start of the meeting. The board recorded five voting members for these motions, with alternate Daniel MacDonald serving as a voting member that evening, as announced by Chair Hastings. The board approved the March 4, 2026 minutes later in the meeting by a 4-0-1 vote, with Dimando recorded as abstaining.
The meeting adjourned at 7:10 p.m.
