Board grants conditional extension for Fields at Indian Creek Phase 1 irrigation; walking path deadline set

The Upper Milford Township Board of Supervisors voted Feb. 5 to grant a conditional time extension for the spray-irrigation work tied to Fields at Indian Creek Phase 1, setting a March 28, 2026 deadline for the walking path.
Frank D’Amore, attorney for Kay Builders, and Joe Black, the developer’s superintendent, said the road wearing course is complete and remaining work includes as-built utility plans, the walking path and a revised spray-irrigation installation. Planning Coordinator Brian Miller and public commenters described the irrigation change as part of an engineering revision to replace spray irrigation with a riparian-buffer approach.
After deliberation and a withdrawn motion, Supervisor Angela Ashbrook moved to grant the extension for the spray-irrigation system through December 2026 contingent on the walking path being completed by March 28, 2026; Supervisor John D. Zgura seconded. The motion passed with no further recorded opposition.
Board members also received a final draft of the Zoning and Subdivision and Land Development (SALDO) ordinance updates from Brian Miller for review prior to the formal adoption process.
