Eastham Conservation Commission: routine approvals, minutes and meeting plans

The Eastham Conservation Commission handled routine business on June 9, approving several certificates of compliance, adopting minutes, scheduling interagency meetings and receiving enforcement updates.
Commissioners administratively closed a 2019 septic filing for Thomas Cassali at 11:45 Kingsbury Beach Road after staff reported the system had been superseded by a later permitted septic system. The commission also approved the certificate for the Molyneux pruning project at 10 Drake Circle and approved the demolition/rebuild certificate at 345 Shortlift Road; Commissioner Greg Douglas recused himself from the Shortlift Road vote as an abutter.
The commission approved the May 12 minutes and voted to continue the May 26 minutes to the June 23 meeting. Staff reported preconstruction meetings at 320 State Highway and 95 Wind Jammer Lane with work expected to begin within weeks.
Commissioners agreed to hold a hybrid meeting with the Cape Cod Commission on Wednesday, July 22, to discuss coastal resilience regulations and modeling, and were told by staff that a defendant in a fence enforcement case at 150 Old State Highway has set a trial date of Aug. 18, 2026. The meeting adjourned in under an hour.
