Conservation staff described an agreed protocol with Earthworm Landscaping to use a small excavator to place larger debris into a 12‑yard dumpster for removal, to grade the area and leave smaller debris in place. Staff asked authority to sign an after‑the‑fact administrative review to allow cleanup to proceed; the motion included a condition that the Eastham Conservation Foundation approve the protocol if the work encroaches on their parcel.
Commissioners also reported earlier cutting of black tupelos on Eastham Conservation Foundation property. Staff said the owner of 30 Sander Lane denied involvement when asked; without clear evidence, the commission declined further enforcement action at the meeting and asked staff to monitor the area.
The commission passed the cleanup authorization with the foundation‑approval condition and instructed staff to return if the foundation does not agree to the protocol.
