"We're just requesting to amend the posted speed limit of that road section from the 35 statutory to a uniform 25 miles per hour sign and enforce accordingly," Kelly said.
A motion to adopt the ordinance was made by Commissioner (speaker 7) and the board approved the change by voice vote. The transcript records "Aye" responses and a mayoral confirmation that the motion passed.
The ordinance will be enforced according to town signage and local enforcement procedures.
