Councilmembers asked whether the funds would be countywide or city‑specific; staff said project scope and the site selection would determine whether funds applied were city‑specific or in coordination with the county, and that further details would return to council for approval before any construction or commitment of funds.
Roll‑call voting was recorded (Nomura, Solorzano, Clark, Mayor Pro Tem and Mayor Alarcón voting yes) and the resolution authorizing application was adopted.
