Klamath County awards three PLSS corner-services contracts; each capped at $150,000

The Klamath County Board of Commissioners on June 9 approved contracting with three firms to provide Public Land Survey System (PLSS) corner services for the 2026 term.
The board authorized contracts with Brockamp Land Surveying LLC, Ryan Cross Group LLC and Ward Surveying LLC; each contract was recorded with a not-to-exceed fiscal impact of $150,000 to be paid from the corner restoration fund. Contracts are effective July 1, 2026 and expire June 30, 2027, and may be extended for up to two additional one-year terms by mutual written consent.
County staff said three quotes were solicited and accepted from each firm; commissioners moved and adopted the motions to approve the contracts and to proceed to signature.
County Surveyor staff will execute the contracts and oversee the work as specified in the procurement documents.
