Because the petition was deferred earlier this year pending additional due diligence related to a nearby pipeline, staff said the applicant must request re‑advertisement to proceed to a public hearing.
Staff recommended, and commissioners agreed, that the petitioner appear at the June 17 study session to request permission to re‑advertise ahead of a July public hearing. No formal action was taken at the June 3 study session because the applicant was absent.
The commission asked staff to notify the applicant to arrange attendance at the June 17 study session and to ensure outstanding technical comments are addressed before any public hearing.
