Spring Lake Park highlights athletic, arts and club successes; district leaders cite student achievements

Wackman described the district’s goal of creating “a positive experience for kids” and emphasized how athletics and activities help students find interests and life lessons beyond wins and losses. The superintendent and other board members praised coaches, volunteers and community partners for contributing to student opportunities, and cited graduation highlights including 526 graduates and 141 students who earned bilingual seals.
Administrators and the board noted the role of community partnerships—particularly the Panther Foundation and city partners—for supporting facilities and activities. The district also previewed summer programs, Discovery Days childcare, credit recovery, extended school year services and athletic camps.
