Board removes classroom-decoration restriction from employee manual after debate

Administration said the intent behind the original language was to keep displays aligned with policy on religious or controversial material, but several board members and teachers who had raised concerns in advance urged removal or rethink of the restriction. A motion to exclude the classroom-decoration paragraph passed by voice vote.
