County outlines EMT rapid-response plan to address staffing shortages

She added that all county dispatch staff are trained to provide Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) services, which helps dispatch appropriate resources and provide pre-arrival instructions.
Committee members discussed the staffing plan as a way to shore up coverage, but no formal vote or funding allocation was made at the meeting.
