The Bayfield County Tribal Relations Committee convened at 8:35 a.m. March 4 at the Leo LaFernier Sr Cultural Center in Red Cliff and approved the minutes of its Dec. 2, 2025 meeting. The motion to adopt the minutes was made by Tribal Vice-Chair Rick Peterson and seconded by Supervisor Steve Sandstrom; the vote carried 4-0.
The committee heard no public comment and recorded no additional formal actions. Members proposed the next meeting for Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at the Bayfield County Emergency Operations Center in Washburn. Chair Steve Sandstrom adjourned the meeting at 11:25 a.m.
