- Deed book restoration: recorder sought and received approval to sign a $3,472.33 contract (paid from Recorder's Perpetuation) to restore a damaged deed book from the 1850s.
- Equipment trade-in: highway superintendent received approval to trade in District 1's mini excavator under the Bobcat trade program (budgeted item); the total net to county for the unit was presented as $11,907.48 plus associated bucket and dealer charges.
- K-9 Fund resolution: County counsel presented Resolution No. 2026-3 creating Orange County K-9 Fund #4012, a restricted donations fund for K-9 unit operations; the board approved the resolution and it will advance to council.
- Lease extension with Vincennes University: commissioners approved a lease extension at $1,075 per year through 06/30/2027, with discussion noting possible future small annual increases.
Other routine approvals included office transitions for the county fair and authorization to offer an optional employee flight membership (Snap Lite) as an employee-paid benefit.
