Lewisboro board approves routine contracts, hires and authorizes UPSEU collective bargaining agreement

The Lewisboro Town Board on June 8 took a series of routine administrative actions, approving the consent agenda, renewing service agreements, authorizing facility uses and confirming personnel appointments.
The board approved the consent agenda (May 26 minutes and monthly reports for Building, Police and Finance) and renewed a manufacturer‑specific maintenance agreement for Wild Oaks Sewer. Members approved a lease/agreement allowing Lewisboro Seniors to use South Salem Presbyterian Church beginning June 10, 2026; seniors’ president Gail Krylovic praised the space’s central location, paved parking and accessible entry.
The board also passed a resolution allowing Northern Westchester Outlaws Baseball to use Fox Valley Park lower fields, set a public hearing for June 22 to consider waiving residency requirements for the deputy receiver of taxes, and appointed Kim Altman as part‑time assistant court clerk (effective June 4) and Samantha Waltz as a part‑time intermediate account clerk (effective June 29). Two non‑agenda hires—Lirysellis Espinosa (effective June 8) and Jean Byrne (effective June 24)—were approved to fill building‑department vacancies.
Separately, the board moved to authorize the supervisor to sign the UPSEU collective bargaining agreement that implements changes previously approved in a memorandum of agreement. The authorization was described as the procedural step to execute the formal agreement.
