At the June 10 Committee of the Whole meeting, Commissioner Thatcher moved to place communication 2026-211 (Silver Bow Mining Corp.'s presentation) on file; the clerk recorded the vote as 12–0 and the motion passed.
Commissioner Thatcher subsequently moved to place communication 2026-227 (a bid opening request for a roof replacement at the Molten Water Treatment Plant) on file; the clerk again recorded a unanimous vote and the motion passed. Thatcher also moved to place communication 2026-270 (a request from parks and recreation to schedule a public hearing to amend sections of the special events ordinance) on file; that motion passed as well.
The council held communication 2026-278 (a letter from Thea McCurdy regarding nuisance dog barking) in abeyance pending a report from animal control. A separate item from Mark Neary (communication 2026-286) requesting a presentation on the FY27 countywide maintenance district plan was continued to next week's meeting because the director was unable to attend.
No members of the public offered additional comment on items not on the agenda, and the committee adjourned.
