Spokane County to adopt updated hazard mitigation plan after FEMA approval letter

Fox said the two‑year effort incorporated the community wildfire protection plan and was coordinated with building and planning staff so the HMP and the county comprehensive plan now support one another. The final requirement is formal adoption by all participating jurisdictions; staff will present a resolution to the commissioners’ legislative calendar in two weeks to allow jurisdictions to adopt the plan.
