The Sheridan School District No. 2 Board of Directors met Feb. 10, 2026, approved the special meeting agenda and moved into executive session to discuss the superintendent’s contract and performance evaluation. President Najera called the meeting to order at 7:20 p.m., with Director Camacho, Director Daigle, Director Stange and President Najera present.
Director Stange moved to approve the meeting agenda; Director Daigle seconded the motion, and the board voted “all ayes.” Later, Director Stange moved and Director Daigle seconded a motion to enter executive session “pursuant to Section 24-6-402(4)(f)(I), C.R.S. for purposes of discussing the Superintendent’s contract and evaluation.” The motion carried on a unanimous voice vote.
The minutes record that the board entered executive session at 7:22 p.m. and remained in closed session until 7:58 p.m. The board invited Gionni Thompson and Polly Plancarte to attend the executive session; Polly Plancarte is listed in the minutes as Acting Secretary. The board reconvened to open session after the executive session on a motion by Director Daigle, seconded by Director Camacho, which passed “all ayes.”
