Whitefish Bay board approves IT partnership, assessment and software contracts, and personnel policy updates

At its Nov. 17 meeting the Whitefish Bay Village Board approved several administrative contracts and policy updates intended to modernize services and align personnel offerings with the 2026 budget.
The board approved a multi‑year information technology services agreement with the Village of Bayside that would transition the village off its current break‑fix vendor; the contract was written for five years with an out clause after three years, and staff said transition work is already underway with hourly support from the outgoing provider.
Trustees also approved a contract with Associated Appraisal Consultants for annual maintenance assessments and a full revaluation to inform tax bills issued in December 2027. Staff said the revaluation work will be conducted in 2027 to support the 2027–2028 tax cycle.
The board voted to adopt a cloud‑based financial and permit services contract with BSNA Software LLC, moving on‑premise systems to a hosted environment and promising improved public functionality for permitting and finance; trustees asked staff to confirm the level of public access to permit records and to evaluate data‑migration and privacy considerations.
Separately the board amended the municipal code to formalize chair discretion on remote participation for committees and adopted an employee handbook addendum that uses a wellness‑style program to cover employee plan contributions as the village transitions to the state health insurance plan.
All motions were approved by voice vote. Staff will manage contract transitions, confirm technical and privacy details for the cloud migration, and implement handbook and policy changes in coordination with affected departments.
