Mort asked whether the village could enforce different start times for contractors and salt/grit operations and asked for help with parking markings in front of schools where cars often block driveways and create hazardous conditions for children walking and biking to school.
Trustees offered to arrange a follow‑up meeting with the police chief and village manager to review response protocols and enforcement options; staff said they would attempt another outreach to Holy Family and work with residents on next steps.
Shortly afterward, Jack Orchard (622 East Carile) asked whether an ordinance prohibits children from operating small motorized vehicles in the street; staff said they would follow up with him after the meeting.
