Trustees were told roughly 30% of trips serve Silver Cliff residents, with about 40–50 rides per month affecting the town.
Trustee Troy Bomgardner moved to allocate $750 immediately and to revisit an additional $750 in six months based on updated Silver Cliff data; Mayor Pro Tem Jake Shy seconded and the board carried the motion. During discussion, trustees said they favored a smaller immediate contribution with a follow-up review rather than the full $1,500 request.
The Rotary representatives said the money would help operating costs, driver recruitment and planned partnerships (including grocery pickup for Vali Assisted Living and telehealth access at the library). The board did not attach additional conditions beyond the six‑month review. Trustees listed no dissenting votes in the minutes.
