PFLUGERVILLE, Texas — The Pflugerville ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously on Aug. 7 to adopt changes recommended by the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) to four local policies: EFB, FD, FM and FNCE.
The board took the item as a second reading. An administrator noted there was no new presentation and that trustees had received the information at the prior meeting. Trustee Torres moved to approve the recommended changes and Trustee Daniel seconded; the motion carried 7–0.
The administration said the updates mirror state guidance and TASB recommendations and that no substantive questions had been raised by trustees since the prior meeting. The board’s action completes the local-adoption step for those policy revisions; no further board votes on these specific local-policy text changes were recorded during the workshop.
The meeting then moved on to a first reading of next year’s student code of conduct.
The vote: motion to adopt TASB-recommended changes to local policies EFB, FD, FM and FNCE — mover: Trustee Torres; second: Trustee Daniel; outcome: approved, 7–0.
