County Engineer Nick Kauffman updated the board on road work and equipment at the May 20 meeting. He said crews were delayed by a fiber optic line while finishing a culvert installation and hoped to have asphalt laid the following week. Work on the Prussia/Kent Avenue project has removed the old roadway materials; an approved project estimate increase allows up to $37,000 over the original amount. Kauffman also noted a repair quote for a motor grader that requires a new transmission.
The board signed the final voucher for the FY26 FM Rock Contract FMC0001(135)-5501 during the meeting.
