The Bullhead City Board of Adjustments approved several organizational items, electing Christie Fouts as chair and Kenya Cribb as vice chair for the 2025-26 fiscal year and voting to approve the minutes of the previous meeting.
During the board's annual review of its bylaws, a member noted the binder lists "cochair" while the adopted bylaws use "vice chair." Staff agreed to amend the discrepancy. A board member also flagged that section 205 did not reflect a 2024 City Council change about new members' ability to vote on meeting minutes; staff said they would review and correct section 205 for the next meeting.
A motion to approve the minutes from the previous meeting was moved and seconded and carried per the record. For the officer elections, a nomination for Christie Fouts to serve as chair was seconded and approved; a nomination for Kenya Cribb to serve as vice chair was also seconded and approved by voice vote.
The board gave staff direction to amend the bylaws where necessary and to return updated language at the next meeting; no other bylaw changes were proposed at this session.
