East Bradford Township's Board of Supervisors on June 4 approved multiple public‑works contracts and procurement actions, including the low bid for the Ravine Road Stabilization Project and authorization to engage a contractor for inlet and curb repairs.
The Township received five bids for the Ravine Road Stabilization Project; Gilmore (bid reviewer) recommended Jurich, Inc.'s low bid of $433,927.00. Member Debbie Maynard moved to award the project to Jurich for $433,927.00, and the motion passed unanimously.
Public‑works staff reported they obtained COSTARS quotes for inlet and curb repair and recommended Cipolloni at an estimated cost of $82,023.81. Vice Chair Bruce W. Laverty moved to engage Cipolloni subject to finalizing COSTARS paperwork; the motion passed unanimously.
The Board also authorized advertisement for bids to repair the historic Copeland Schoolhouse and confirmed that the Township Engineer may sign the previously awarded Shadow Wood Drive storm‑sewer contract with Eagle Contracting, Inc. for $213,758.97 in place of the Township Manager, with Board authorization recorded as unanimous for those items.
Board members recorded no discussion on the motions during the meeting; staff indicated contract paperwork and COSTARS procurement steps remain to be finalized before work begins.
