- Bond anticipation note (series 2026, $90,500,000) and related issuance-cost budget amendment: Approved; council accepted staff recommendation of Truist as preferred line provider and approved related budget amendments (motions passed 7–0).
- Easement to Appalachian Power to serve a cell tower at 3525 John Catherine Road (lease for Milestone Towers): Approved (7–0).

- Settlement authority for sewer-overflow claim (712 San Hill Drive): Council authorized settlement above the typical self-insurance cap (motion passed 7–0).
- Responsible Fatherhood Month proclamation (June): Council adopted a resolution declaring June 'Responsible Fatherhood Month' and asked that the mayor’s name appear on the proclamation (motion passed 7–0).
Several other items were discussed but not adopted as formal votes at that meeting, most notably a contentious resolution about reported Liberty University enrollment projections that was taken up, reconsidered and ultimately failed in a subsequent recorded vote during the same meeting.
