The West Bradford Township Board of Supervisors took a series of routine actions at its April 14, 2026 meeting: it approved the March 10 minutes, ratified a separation agreement, rejected bids for a house relocation at 1401 Marshallton Thorndale Road, adopted Resolution #26-06 recognizing National Library Week, and awarded two road maintenance contracts totaling $103,453.52.
Vice Chair Jack M. Hines Jr. moved to approve the March 10 meeting minutes; Member Kevin Houghton seconded and the motion carried 3-0.
Township Manager Justin Yaich presented the Treasurer’s report and a list of bills to be paid. Member Kevin Houghton moved to pay the bills and ratify payroll; Vice Chair Hines seconded. The motion carried with two yes votes; Vice Chair Hines abstained on one invoice due to a conflict.
On business items, the Board voted 3-0 to reject bids for the house relocation at 1401 Marshallton Thorndale Road (motion by Hines, second by Houghton). The Board also ratified an employment separation agreement dated March 26, 2026 (motion by Houghton, second by Hines), and adopted Committee Resolution #26-06 recognizing National Library Week (motion by Hines, second by Houghton), each by 3-0 votes.
The Board approved two procurement awards for 2026 maintenance programs: a $28,950.00 contract to D.E. Gemmill, Inc. (Red Lion, PA) for the annual lines and markings program (motion by Houghton, second by Hines) and a $74,503.52 contract to Martin Paving, Inc. (Lititz, PA) for asphalt seal coating (motion by Hines, second by Houghton). Both awards passed 3-0.
The Board accepted Subdivision #26-01 (single-lot subdivision at 1821 Shadyside Road) for review by the Township and Chester County planning commissions (motion by Hines, second by Houghton; 3-0). Member Kevin Houghton announced petitions to include several properties in the Agricultural Security Area and noted upcoming meeting dates and cancellations.
