Resident urges West Bradford to adopt Ready for 100 steps, solar and EV charging

During the public-comment portion of the April 14 meeting, resident Cheryl Wanko of 994 Stargazers Road urged the Board to prioritize climate action in the Comprehensive Plan, asked what steps the Township will take under a Ready for 100 resolution to become greenhouse gas free, and asked why sustainability was removed from the Township’s Land Preservation considerations. Wanko also urged the Township to pursue solar installations, an electric-vehicle–charged township fleet, and the installation of EV charging stations in the Township.
Shortly afterward, resident Mark Slouf of 416 Cann Road presented the Board with a handheld Declaration of Independence and circulated a list of events for the Dare to Declare America 250 celebration, saying those materials will be available to residents at the Township building.
The meeting record does not show Board debate or a staff response to the specific policy requests during the April 14 session. The public-comment entries were recorded in the minutes as presented; any formal consideration of Wanko’s requests for the Comprehensive Plan, Ready for 100 commitments, or EV infrastructure would require further agenda items and Board direction not captured in this meeting’s minutes.
