The West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District Board of Education approved multiple consent packages and acknowledged several administrator appointments before adjourning into a closed executive session to discuss personnel matters and ongoing negotiations.
During the business portion of the meeting the board approved administration items 1–15 (peach addendum), curriculum items 1–2 (purple addendum), and finance items 1–8 (blue addendum) by roll-call style affirmation. The personnel package (items 1–2, green addendum) was also approved; one abstention was recorded by Ms. De Sebastian on personnel item two.
On personnel announcements, Dr. Aderhold recognized a number of leadership changes in the district. He said Azure Diggs, previously an assistant principal at Hillside, will become principal of Village Elementary School for the 2026–27 school year and invited the Diggs family to the audience. "I'm extraordinarily thrilled to welcome her as the new principal of Village Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year," Dr. Aderhold said. The board gave audible applause.
Dr. Aderhold also announced that Stephanie Jahari will join the district as the 6–12 language arts supervisor after serving as supervisor of humanities and ESL in another district and that several principal and assistant-principal transfers were finalized, including Paul Hamnett moving to Grover Middle School and Mr. Malkadis joining Village Elementary as assistant principal.
After completing votes and recognitions, the presiding officer read a resolution under the Open Public Meetings Act authorizing an executive session to discuss matters of personnel confidentiality, the superintendent evaluation and a WWPSA negotiations update. The board recessed into the closed session and stated it would not return to open session to conduct further public business that night.
The meeting record shows the board approved the listed consent packages and recorded the noted abstention; no public action on compensation for educational support staff was taken in open session.
