The Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training advisory committee approved the March 3, 2026 transcript and action summary by voice vote after a motion by Rosa and second from Gamboa; the motion passed unanimously.
Assistant Executive Director Jim Grokow announced the Post Excellence in Training awards ceremony to be held at the start of the commission meeting the following day and opened the nomination period for awards (July 1–Dec 31; nominations via trainingawards@post.ca.gov).
