Anthony Wayne Theater cleared to infill five second‑floor windows to improve watertightness

Andy Cho, representing the Anthony Wayne Theater board, said three of the five windows are already boarded and located in an inset northern facade; the other two are on the western facade and are being removed because the theater’s updated interior layout no longer requires them. Cho said infilling the openings with matching brick will improve thermal performance and allow the theater to keep the building watertight.
Cho showed existing photos that show boarded openings and indicated the proposed brick and color match earlier approved work. Board members confirmed the material was consistent with prior approvals and noted the marquee and other exterior lighting will likely come back under a later phase.
The board moved to approve the application; the motion carried by voice vote. The theater was encouraged to return with any future marquee or lighting changes.
