Tardiff said meeting materials include a graphic developed by Mrs. Carey and that postcards will be sent to all property owners within the Village District to notify them of the session. The workshop is intended to explain RSA 79‑E, how the tax incentive works, and how property owners might participate.
The workshop is scheduled ahead of potential local revitalization planning and is presented as an informational session rather than a formal vote or adoption of policy. The committee did not take formal action at the June 2 meeting to adopt incentives; it scheduled outreach and the educational session to gather property‑owner input and explain statutory provisions.
The committee approved its May 9 minutes and then continued with other agenda items. The next EDC meeting is set for July 7, 2026, at 5:15 p.m.
