Bolton wetlands agent reports on enforcement, ongoing projects and a $75 CACIWC membership appropriation

Wetlands Agent Alyssa Barroso told the Bolton Inland Wetlands Commission on June 30 that several enforcement and project matters are progressing and that she will reinstate a Permit Activity Report in future packets.
On enforcement, Barroso said the cease‑and‑correct for debris in the wetlands at 37 Notch Road involving owner Alexey Ouzonov and a tenant is still being resolved, and that "George Logan should finish the delineation this week." Barroso said she will meet with the owner to determine next steps; the commission did not record a formal enforcement action at this meeting.
Barroso reported stabilization work is complete at 180 Bolton and that construction of an in‑ground pool and sport court at 148 Brandy Street is proceeding without new concerns. She said there is nothing new to report at 65 Shoddy Mill and that she has been advising developers for potential projects at 51 Loomis Road and 11 Stoney Road. She also said she has received a few neighbor complaints on Shady Lane about drainage; she sent a letter to the homeowner and has not received a response. Chair Ross Lally recommended sending a follow‑up letter informing the homeowner that a violation letter will be issued if no response is received.
In other business the commission voted unanimously to appropriate $75.00 for CACIWC membership funds for FY25‑26. Chair Lally said proposed updates to the wetlands regulations had been removed from the Selectmen's agenda because of Selectmen consideration of the FY25/FY26 budget and referendum; he said the commission will seek to place the regulation updates on a future Selectmen's agenda.
