Council hires Government Professional Solutions to run City Manager search

According to the minutes, four councilmembers favored Government Professional Solutions; Councilmember Delgado asked about training so councilmembers understand the hiring process and their responsibilities. City Attorney Richardson said the selected firm would assist in narrowing candidates and handling parts of the process. Mayor Foos moved to engage Government Professional Solutions and Councilmember Wolf seconded; the motion passed by a seven-yes vote. The estimated cost range presented in the minutes was $19,500 to $25,000 depending on the chosen proposal.
