"These are trillion dollar companies," Turner said during his remarks, arguing the county should be cautious about changing subdivision requirements while the power-line question remains unresolved.
The chair read into the record a short email from Mike Wilson asking the commission to clarify whether RV use for workforce housing would be regulated differently from recreational campground operations; the email requested explicit definitions so citizens and staff can understand how rules would be applied.

At the end of the meeting, staff member Miss Buckley briefed commissioners on upcoming items: she said the Board of Supervisors approved a comprehensive-plan amendment for electric transmission facilities on May 18 and that a conditional-use permit public hearing on the transmission topic is scheduled for the Board meeting on July 6. Buckley also previewed three AFD hearings and a rezoning request for next month and asked commissioners to coordinate individually about county-issued tablets that may need replacement.
