The committee recommended denying funding (award $0) to 10 Pura and to another $7,500 request from '23 Squared.' On administrative business, the council approved a clerical correction to an earlier resolution amending a Wyoming Water Development Commission funding authorization and amended resolution 1342 to reflect that State Land and Investment Board eligibility for a Federal Minerals Royalty Capital Construction Grant is $300,000 rather than the $500,000 the staff had earlier listed. Staff said the $300,000 figure came from the SLIB response.
Council also approved the donation of two pony kegs of malt beverage by the Lander Bar and Grill to the Lander Pet Connection (a 501(c)(3)) for a fundraising event at Wild Iris. Staff explained Wyoming statute requires local governing authority approval for donated alcohol to nonprofits and that alcohol may be donated only to an IRS‑recognized nonprofit.
Finally, the council voted to go into an executive session to discuss potential litigation and later returned and adjourned into a regular work session. No binding policy changes beyond the listed approvals were made in the work session.
