Board approves consent items and updates to personnel policies
Summary

At the June 8 meeting the Papillion La Vista Community Schools Board of Education approved routine action-by-consent items and adopted annual revisions to the 4,000 series (personnel) policies.
President Lotus called for a motion on the consent agenda; Mr. Bailey moved approval and Mr. Madler seconded. The board approved the consent items on a roll-call vote with all present members voting yes.
Later in the meeting Dr. Settles summarized the committee'level review of the 4,000 series and noted changes to policy 405 and several other numbered items that the committee recommended for board approval. Mr. Madler moved to approve changes to the 4,000s (including 405, 432, 446, 4104, 4116, and 4141) and Miss Butler seconded. The motion passed on a roll-call vote with all present members recorded as voting yes.
Both votes were explicit roll-call actions recorded in the meeting minutes; no dissenting votes were recorded on either item.
