Division asks board to delay standards-based elementary report cards by a year

Swogger said the pilot was limited to five teachers working in a sandbox account and that a larger-scale pilot (two teachers per elementary school across content areas and special education) is planned for 2026–27 to prepare staff for a full district rollout in 2027–28. Committee members asked whether the known bugs have been fixed and how the delay would affect strategic-plan timelines; Swogger responded the known issues are resolved but not all content and comment fields are loaded yet, and that the delay aligns with training and platform readiness.
The committee voted to forward the proposed policy revision to the full board for consideration.
