Board members discussed the need for uniform enforcement across buildings and requested that future drafts show redlines so members can more easily see changes. After agreeing to remove the contested language, the board voted to approve the amended Code of Conduct.
Administrators described procedures for addressing inconsistent teacher enforcement, saying they typically begin with conversations with staff and escalate to HR documentation only if necessary. The board did not adopt any additional enforcement mechanisms at the meeting; administration said it would continue to handle incidents through its existing procedures.
