Council to consider city manager employment agreement in executive session

The mayor read the executive-session notice into the record, citing Texas Government Code Section 551.074 for personnel deliberations and Section 551.072 for real-property deliberations related to another agenda item. The council announced it would go into executive session at 7:25 p.m.
City Attorney (or staff) participation was referenced as necessary for legal consultation during the closed session. The council noted that no action would be taken in executive session and that any decisions or votes would occur in open session following any required return to the public meeting.
