PTA warns of leadership gap after three executive officers step down

The PTA representative said the organization planned a July 10 meeting with district staff (Andy and Uda were named) to strategize recruitment and identify district support to encourage volunteer leaders. The representative and other board members urged shared responsibility for tasks so no single volunteer bears the entire burden.
Board members and other speakers praised recent PTA events, including a reading night and year-end activities, and encouraged outreach and mentoring for potential leaders. No formal board action was taken; staff said they will collaborate with PTA leaders to promote volunteer recruitment and provide informational support.
The PTA report signaled concern about continuity of parent-led programming and the district indicated it will assist with outreach and information where appropriate.
