At its March 25, 2025 meeting the Craig City Council conducted roll call, approved the consent agenda and the agenda as amended, and heard presentations from police, regional energy and small business organizations. The council held the first of two required public hearings on the proposed Yampa Valley Regional Transportation Authority (RTA), approved a municipal ordinance expanding debt collection options for municipal court fines, approved infrastructure and capital project contracts (including an emergency valve change order and a north clarifier rehabilitation contract), and approved multiple development and naming items including a 14‑space mobile‑home park expansion, a two‑lot minor subdivision and the renaming of the city dog park to the Don Williams Memorial Dog Park. The police chief presented the department’s 2024 annual report to the council. The meeting concluded after routine staff reports and adjournment.
