Fremont County commissioners unanimously approved two funding contracts with the Wyoming Judicial Branch on June 2 to support adult and juvenile treatment courts.
Clarence Thomas moved and Michael Jones seconded to approve a Treatment Court funding contract for $449,024; the motion carried unanimously. The board then approved a Juvenile Treatment Court funding contract for $88,300 on a similar unanimous vote.
Treatment Court Executive Director Sage Goff presented the monthly update related to the program prior to the motions. The approvals were part of the regular business portion of the meeting and were recorded as carried unanimously by the four commissioners in attendance.
Both contracts are to be administered through the Wyoming Judicial Branch funding mechanism; the board did not specify additional local match or implementation details in the meeting record. County Clerk Julie Freese noted follow-up budget and SOC discussions would continue later in the session.
The motions were procedural approvals during the regular meeting; no amendments to the contracts were recorded at the June 2 session.
