Washington County commissioners voted on a set of routine administrative and contract items during their Feb. 17 meeting.
Key approved motions included: approval of the Use of Polling Place Agreement for the Armory Building of Weiser School District #431; reappointment of Kelley Bruce, Brooke Mink and Kristin Nolte to the Washington County Fair Board for two‑year terms; approval of an ES&S DS300 ballot scanner purchase for $7,900 (with $6,842.15 from a HAVA Grant and the remainder from county funds); approval of a Tenex Software Solutions contract; and approval of Resolution No. 26‑03 authorizing destruction of county records as read on the record.
Within the Weiser Ambulance District session the board approved Order No. 26‑19 for payroll expenses ($21,566.51) and Order No. 26‑20 for general expenses ($6,105.20). The board also approved Skinner Fawcett LLP as special election counsel for the ambulance district to support election work related to a proposed levy.
The board recessed as needed (Board of Equalization and Weiser Ambulance District sessions) and reconvened as the county commissioners. The meeting recessed at 11:42 a.m. until Feb. 23, 2026.
