Woodbury Board approves bids, donations and appointments in unanimous votes

The Board also awarded the 7 Mountain Road furnace project to Carragan Heating and Air Conditioning LLC for $36,800; the board cited Carragan's responsiveness, proximity, and service history in selecting the slightly higher bid. Both motions carried 3-0.
Donations: The Board accepted with gratitude a $1,500 donation from Nadine Newell for the Woodbury Public Library Gallery and accepted a donation from Renee Laux for two industrial benches in memory of her husband Chris; the Senior Center Director (Lauren) will determine final color and placement. Both motions were unanimous.
Appointments and minutes: The Board amended a previously adopted motion to correct Scott Sullivan's Conservation Commission term end date to Jan. 1, 2027, and appointed Danielle A. Yesulaites as an alternate to the Zoning Board of Appeals with a term through Dec. 6, 2027. The Board also approved the minutes of the May 26, 2026 meeting. All motions carried 3-0.
Context and next steps: Several items were routine approvals to maintain town operations and staffing continuity. The Board then adjourned the public meeting at 8:25 p.m. and entered a non-meeting collective bargaining strategy session with the HR Director.
