The Titus County Commissioners Court on June 8 approved several routine items on its agenda, including an engagement letter for an external audit and an interlocal agreement to share district attorney office costs with Camp County, accepted the treasurer's report, and approved pay orders to pay county bills.
The court approved an engagement letter for WIF Henderson PC to perform the county's external audit with an estimated cost of $39,500. The court also approved an interlocal agreement with Camp County to fund the district attorney's office on a population basis after noting prior funding discrepancies had been resolved. An internal agreement between Titus County and the City of Mount Pleasant was tabled because of technical paperwork issues and will return to a future agenda.
The court approved oral and written county official reports, accepted the treasurer's report as a matter of record, and approved pay orders to pay county bills; motions on these items carried unanimously.
